Hi, I'm Chris Nixon! I'm a full stack UX professional with over 5 years of experience at companies such as Indeed, Expedia, and Workday. After graduating with my masters degree in information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015, I joined Expedia as a hybrid researcher/designer where I've worked on our flights and activities teams. In 2018, I joined Indeed in San Francisco as a User Experience researcher.

I use a hybrid philosophy of research-based design, utilizing different research methods throughout the design process, beginning with generative research such as ethnography and interviews, and utilizing various evaluative research methods throughout the process to see how well our design is solving our users' needs.

In my spare time, I enjoy building connected devices with Arduino, traveling, reading about public transit, and flying.
